The History of Loveswept Books

Loveswept is a romance fiction imprint of Penguin Random House. The imprint was established in 1983, and it quickly became known for its contemporary romance novels. Loveswept specializes in publishing romance novels by debut and established authors.

Loveswept was originally published by Bantam Books, a division of Random House, which later merged with Penguin to become Penguin Random House. Loveswept became known for its contemporary romance novels, including works by authors such as Iris Johansen, Tami Hoag, and Suzanne Brockmann.

Throughout the years, Loveswept has also published a number of bestselling romance novels, such as the "Flynn Brothers" series by Catherine Anderson, and the "Dream Man" series by Linda Howard.

In the late 1990s and early 2000s, Loveswept took a hiatus and was not publishing new books. However, in 2013, Penguin Random House announced that it would be relaunching the imprint, and since then Loveswept has been publishing new romance novels. The imprint has also been publishing e-books since then.

Loveswept has now become one of the most popular romance fiction imprints, publishing books that are widely read and loved by readers all over the world.
